Ingredients:
- 1 lb beef round
- 4 tablespoons of fat (butter, tallow, oil)
- 1/3 cup chopped bell pepper (Approx. 1 large or 2 medium peppers)
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup tomatoes
Instructions:
- Pound steak well on both sides and pound in flour
- Heat fat of choice in pan and brown meat on both sides
- Add seasonings, tomatoes, and water
- Cover and simmer for about 1 1/2 hours or until the meat is tender
