Casserole Meal

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 1 stick of butter (cubed)
  • 1/2 cup uncooked white rice
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • Canned tomatoes (if desired)
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions:

  • Peel and slice potatoes
  • Place in the bottom of buttered casserole dish, salt and pepper to taste
  • Dot with cubed butter
  • Add uncooked rice, season, and dot with cubed butter
  • Add ground beef, canned tomatoes (if desired) and season
  • Cover with foil and bake at 350 F for 2 hours approx
